For medical and biomedical fields, MEMSCAP offer is based on two main products families, namely the multi-purpose AE800 sensors family which main commercial applications are flow sensing in medical ventilators, as well as muscular force pressure, and the SP840 sensors family, dedicated to physiological pressure (including blood pressure)

The SP840 physiological sensor is specially conceived for measuring intra-vascular pressure. This sensor uses disposable accessories (plastic domes and sets) for each procedure. This product is embarked on the main monitoring systems such as those of Siemens, Philips or GE Medical.

During 2002, leveraging on these technologies, MEMSCAP has developed products for new applications: blood filtration (for dialysis), and wireless sensors (bluetooth).
